Keyword Density Checker

Keyword Density Checker

Inspect repeated words and phrases in a draft.

Formula and assumptions

Tool · Count overlapping one-, two- and three-word sequences. Density (%) = occurrences ÷ total words × 100. Display the ten most frequent eligible sequences of each length.

Density is occurrences divided by all word positions. Optional English stop-word filtering removes phrases containing stop words. Use this diagnostic to investigate repetition, never as a ranking target.

Interpreting the result

Inspect the sentences containing a repeated phrase before editing. Product names and technical terms may repeat legitimately, and synonym substitution can reduce clarity.

Assumptions and limitations

Density is occurrences divided by all word positions. Optional English stop-word filtering removes phrases containing stop words. Use this diagnostic to investigate repetition, never as a ranking target.

Is there an ideal keyword percentage?

No single percentage establishes quality. Inspect repetition in context and prioritize clear, useful writing.
