YouTube Earnings Estimator

YouTube Earnings Estimator

Model creator revenue using your monthly views and revenue per thousand views.

Formula and assumptions

Estimate · Monthly estimate = Monthly views ÷ 1000 × Main RPM. Low monthly estimate = Monthly views ÷ 1000 × Low RPM. High monthly estimate = Monthly views ÷ 1000 × High RPM. Annual estimate = Monthly views ÷ 1000 × Main RPM × 12.

RPM varies by audience, country, content, advertiser demand and monetized views. Annual projection assumes twelve equal months.

How to use this tool

Choose the relevant mode, enter Monthly views and complete the labelled fields. Use Calculate to review your result.

Worked example

Monthly views = 100000, Main RPM = 3, Low RPM (optional) = 2, High RPM (optional) = 5.

Monthly estimate = 300.00 currency units · Low monthly estimate = 200.00 currency units · High monthly estimate = 500.00 currency units · Annual estimate = 3,600.00 currency units.

These example values are illustrative.

Interpreting the result

Build a low and high scenario using figures from your own reporting. The annual projection repeats the selected month and does not model seasonality.

Assumptions and limitations

RPM varies by audience, country, content, advertiser demand and monetized views. Annual projection assumes twelve equal months.

Can I use advertiser CPM instead of RPM?

Use creator revenue per thousand views from your own reporting. Advertiser CPM measures a different quantity.
